However the longer frame on the P365 will make for a better shooter. Even with the 12-round extended mag in a std P365 I find I can handle and shoot the P365X better. The 380 uses the same 9mm lower frame, FCU and excellent trigger (a shortcoming on many 22LR kits can be a different trigger). So swapping over would literally take only seconds. I shot my S&W M&P40 and Sig P365 at 43 yards last week to see if I could score hits on a head-sized target with five rounds, rapid fire. I scored 2 hits each. This week, I tried 50 yard shots, with a rest, 5-shots, slow fire, with cheap Remington ammo in a Glock G19 Gen 5 MOS with a Burris Fastfire III red dot, and a Sig P365 ...That includes boutique manufacturers with prices north of $3k. Then there is the actual percentage of units with “issues” to total units sold. Sig does a great job correcting those .005% units that slip through, as do most other manufacturers.
